If I ever do and loose the password, i swear I will delete it :). Infact if i password protect a word doc, id like to delete myself only. Computer genius..umm...ummm.. a lot of people from my college would read this and burst out ;) @Anu: the kind of password abhilash sets should be banned. In fact he should be banned for even remembering them ;). @Manavi: phew, i’ve never ever locked a word doc. So something similar happened when i had to amend one of my word docs which i had locked. I rang a fire alarm to my brother and he managed to find out about unlokcing word docs. So here it goes How to unprotect password protected word documents Go to - 'Tools' Go to - 'Macros' click on - 'Microsoft script editor' hit cntrl F and find for 'Password' delete the letter cum number code (put as XXXXX in the illustration) 'Password>XXXXX< save the changes and just go ahead and unprotect the document !!! :) So i guess there is no cure to our aging memories but i guess we would need to rely on computer genius like you to save us from such emergencies :) Hey,

I cannot even recount how many times I've had to call for tech help/phone/online help because I can't remember what passwords I have used where. Till the time iris/biometric type stuff gets here, I have to depend on Abhi to remember them for me...He can make and remember passwords like w3%g7#2d!!! OMG! I totally agree!!
