Entourage
Entourage is TV series loosely based on the phase in life of Mark Wauhlberg during the time he first came to hollywood. I have seen the first 4 seasons of the series and I can tell you that it is hilarious. Vince is an up and coming movie star who moved from queens in new york to hollywood with his entourage that includes Drama - his real elder brother who is now a struggling actor, E - his bum chum pal from school and Turtle - another close friend from queens.
Vince is the sole bread earner, a heart throb who is living the glorious hollywood life. E is his manager who reads the scripts and decides what movies Vince should work on. Drama is the official cook, who is basically struggling in his acting profession because of crazy, self imposed circumstances that adds to the real fun in the series. Turtle is the official driver or weed finder who is living the most incredible life by using Vince’s fame to get to anything and everything. All these guys are great freinds born with the only purpose in life - live it up. There are no emotional drama’s, tear gas speeches or ego rides. Their interactions with the outside world generates even more amusement.
The outside word includes crazy directors, insane production houses, but most importantly it includes Ary Gold. Ary is Vince’s super shot agent, which means he is the main link between the production houses and the actor himself. There is no review in the world that can describe what Ary Gold brings to this series. Lets just say he is a sole of entourage. Insane dialogues, super rich lifestyle, gorgeous wife and wild acting would be insufficient to sum him up. He has a love and hate relationship with the boys, his wife, his employees, and just about everyone else in the world. His acting in the series has already won him an Emmy.
Entourage is your peek inside the hollywood, the politics, the money, the lifestyles, the big production houses like warner bros and much more. It’s a must watch for comedy lovers. Its often called the male version of sex and the city, which is fair as this is about 4 guys who are good friends. But apart from that no other comparison can be drawn as far as the actual story is concerned. I personally feel that sex and the city was classy, and this is classy too in its own crazy guy fun way.
This is am amazing series, I have been wating season 5 ( currently being aired in the US) WOW , the first episode was something, and Turtle is the one who keeps the show alive
yeah Turtle is too good. I can’t frankly pick between Drama, Ary, Turtle and that crazy director that shot queens blvd. Have you already seen season 5 episode 1? How and where?

Season 5 Episode 3. Greatest episode to date in the Entourage series, if you’ve seen the sweet sixteen episode please comment. The evolution of this series is incredible, its actually getting better every year. Best character on this show is Drama, he’s the classic ego maniac that puts friends ahead of himself and the cracks between him and Turtle are classic, but the rips Arie gives to E are why comedy awards are made.
true Ari’s cracks to E are just fantastic, the last scene of episode 3 with drama going to town on the cake was priceless, the last episode with the shrooms at joshua tree had the makings of one of the best episones with e not talking turtle understanding arnold and Ari talking to Confucios … but they somehow ruined it… Dan do upi work at hewitt ? i used to …
I am officially jealous now reading both of you discuss the new season. I have not seen a single episode of season 5. Huh!

oh ptrison breat the latest season is pretty good , it just keeps on getting crazier but Season 2 was the best
no worries.. right now with diwali celebrations and cricket and epl on tv, i can live without entourage. never seen prison break. is it comedy?

Ankush, whats up man? I work at hewitt. I was on Chrysler with Shekhar. Agreed Prison Break is a great show but I have to disagree that season 2 is the best. Season 1 was incredible. The current season is pretty good, its getting crazier each episode. Like Oceans 11 style. As for Entourage, man I thought the season was going to go down hill after latest edisode with Dom coming back. I’m glad he’s in jail now, hopefully for the rest of the season.

Well the last episode i saw was then E posted bail for DOm, the episode on the golf course(dont wanna give out every thing for shekhar) seemed as if they had set the show up for a great one rest of the season.
Prison break is a great show I liked season 2 just coz of the suspense on how they will stay ahead and teh whole money thing, 3 was crappy, but this season with the vegas episode just became very interesting, The office started up and the shield and Terminator, T SCC started up wow so much to watch
How are things in chicago land, I hear it’s startung to get cold now.
Im back. Been a lil busy lately. Ankush provided me with some new episodes of this season.. lookout for my comments in this space.
Its gonna be a good TV season. So far The Office has been funnier than ever, Terminator is good, I never got into Shield but I might pick up the dvd’s and give it a shot sometime. Heroes and Fringe are very good shows to watch too. Man it is getting frigid in Chicago. I don’t mind though. I would rather have the cold than super hot. Man last episode of Entourage might be setting up the end of the show!! You think its the end of Ari Gold??? Vince wasn’t too happy at the end of that episode. Can’t wait to see what will happen. So far best season ever! I hope this show will go on for another 6 more years, no other show makes me laugh as hard. BTW check out this new show on HBO called Trueblood. I really got into it and its pretty good!
Woah Dan you got your winter plan well laid out seems :). Haven’t watched anything since Entourage. You guys seem to be watching a lot of these shows. I need to pick one soon. Maybe Ankush has seen a lot of these. Ankush where are you these days man?

upto season 4 episode 12 on this, intense and funny
Dan i saw the last one looks like the end of the series the way they parted but if the show will live they cant do away with ARI GOLD, he is just GOLD>..I’ll check out true blood, also been watching Friday night lights these days, pretty intense once you get into it. Done with season 1 today, another good show i started on was The Unit. done with the first 2 seasons on that one. The shield is pretty good i am upto season 6. Another one i am watching is Weeds
The office is priceless, esp the last episode with the watermelon & the baby but Jim and Pam are starting to get flaky now they need to spice em up and get the OLD JIM back.
Oh the snow how i miss it, living upstate new york on the lake for 6 yrs i know how cold and snowy it can get. But I love the snow would take it any dau over 80 Deg Oct.

Stock up on internal HDD and swap them out makes life so much better! So you watch Weeds as well?? Nice that’s another one of my favorite shows. Nancy Botwin is nice on the eyes if you know what I mean.

The latest Entourage was amazing. The lesson from that episode, never piss Ari off. Man it was a sweet episode. Drama flapping his big mouth around town and screwing Turtle BADLY…The future of Entourage is looking VERY good
I have it downloaded along with the first 7 episodes of True Blood and the first season of californication, So much to watch so lil time.
Ankush - True Blood, excellent show!! starts off kinda slow but the plot gets thick and scary pretty quickly. The characters are funny and I’m just a huge fan of vamps. Plus it has its share of nice girls to look at as well

The latest episode of entourage was pure genious. That director was out of his mind and Ari’s rips on him were side ripping. Depressing that the season finale is next sunday. What are we going to do for the next 8 months??
Ankush, Trueblood get incredibly good. I’m completely in love with the show. It starts really slow but it’ll pick up and begin to creep you out. Also depressing that show will be ending next sunday.

dude the season finale was brutal. brutally good in wanting more entourage. the way Vince did E was incredible. E is classic for not buying a new cell phone. I’ve download a few dexter episodes. I havent had a chance to watch any yet but the premise of the show looks promising. how are you liking Trueblood so far?
True blood is decent. I have d/l the first season of dexter seen the first episode but nothing captivating, a lil annoying actually, I just downloaded WINGS, remember that with Joe hackket and all on nantucket
